NEW YORK — The New York Police Department has released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in connection with a daring burglary.
Police say the man began casing an armored vehicle at a stop near Sixth Avenue and West 48th Street about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 29. Later, he reportedly walked up and stole a 90-pound bucket of gold flakes worth $1.6 million off the truck while the guards were making another pickup.
Authorities say the suspect is a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing what’s in this video.
New York police told ABC news the man might be in Orlando or Miami.
