Inmate with face tattoos escapes Atlanta facility

ATLANTA — An inmate escaped from the Atlanta Transitional Center on Saturday morning, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Dennis Carlyle, 23, was last seen wearing civilian clothes and has multiple tattoos on his face and neck.

Carlyle was convicted of committing a 2012 robbery and was serving a seven year sentence, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Residents are urged to not approach Carlyle and to call 911 if they see him.
