ZANESVILLE, Ohio — A 1-month-old boy died in a hot car last week in Ohio, WHIO-TV is reporting.
The newborn was found in a car at a Zanesville apartment complex Tuesday, according to Kids and Cars Inc., a nonprofit organization that tracks hot car deaths. It is unclear how the boy ended up in the vehicle.

This infant is the second Ohio child to die in a hot car this year. On July 14, a 6-month-old girl died in a hot car in Medina.
Since 1994, Ohio has had 21 hot car deaths, according to the organization. The boy is the 41st hot car death nationwide.
