ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s happened again. Gas prices have risen in Florida.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas landed at $4.77 on Wednesday, AAA said.

That’s a penny more than the day before.

The national average jumped another four cents in a day — settling at $4.95 a gallon.
AAA said 14 states have already hit the $5 per gallon mark — and Florida could soon hit that milestone.
The auto giant said several factors have driven prices upward, including the war in Ukraine, fears of an active hurricane season and America’s lowered capacity to produce enough oil and gas.

Experts don’t expect a significant fall in prices at the pump anytime soon.
So expect to pay nearly $72 to fill your average-sized gas tank — about $29 more than you paid a year ago.
