Shooting at warehouse party leaves one dead and another in serious condition, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Sherriff’s Deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to an aggravated battery call on the 300 block of North Ivey Lane around 5:34 a.m.

When deputies arrived, they located the victim, a Black male in his late 50s, who had been shot.  He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to deputies, a second victim, a 29-year-old Black male, was also shot and transported himself to a hospital. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is in serious condition.

The investigation found that the shooting occurred during a large party at a warehouse. Deputies said there were over 100 people at the party and they are looking to talk to witnesses.
