Sen Scott quarantining after possible COVID-19 exposure

ORLANDO, Fla — Florida Sen. Rick Scott is quarantining after coming in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

The senator tweeted out the information Saturday, writing that after arriving in Florida Friday night, Scott came into contact with someone who subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.

Sen. Scott also wrote that he was tested on Saturday morning and the result was negative. Scott tweeted that he has no symptoms, but out of an abundance of caution, he will be immediately quarantining.
