ORLANDO, Fla. — The city of Orlando released new documents Tuesday that outlined the moments after Omar Mateen began shooting inside the Pulse nightclub on June 12.
Orlando police received a call shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday of shots fired inside the club.

Within minutes, horrified club-goers began calling 911 to report they’ve been shot, others have been hurt and a gunman was shooting everyone.
A whispering caller told 911 at 2:07 a.m. that he hadn't heard any gunshots in 30 seconds. Two minutes later, another 911 dispatcher heard 20 to 30 gunshots while they were on the phone with a caller.
Many of the people inside the club were hiding in closets, an office, dressing room, 10 people were hiding inside a handicap bathroom stall.
Other calls came from outside the club, including a father begging for help for his daughter who was hiding in the bathroom after being shot in the leg and the arm.
A caller described seeing the shooter with a bomb strapped to him two hours after the shootings began.

At approximately 4:21 a.m., people who had been hiding inside a dressing room, escaped through the window after an air conditioning unit was removed.
Eight minutes later, Mateen told dispatchers he was going to strap four vests to people inside Pulse nightclub.
At 5:02 a.m. the SWAT team broke through a bathroom wall to find dozens of people in need of help; some were already dead.
In all, 49 people died and 53 others were injured.
