ORLANDO, Fla. — The Human Rights Campaign helped honor the 49 victims of the Pulse nightclub terror attack with the help of some celebrities.
In an 18-minute video posted to the Human Rights Campaign’s Facebook page, 49 celebrities paid tribute to the victims with a eulogy.
The celebrities included Lady Gaga, Connie Britton, Sophia Vergara, and Kerry Washington.
Angela Bassett, a Florida native, also participated.
She said being from St. Petersburg made the cause personal for her.
At the end of the video, the celebrities had a strong message.
“Join me and the HRC to demand common-sense laws to protect the LGBTQ community and all Americans from hate violence," Bassett said.
