ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police said a pregnant woman who was found shot in a vehicle more than a week ago has died, but the child she was carrying survived.
Firefighters responded to a crash at Orange Center Blvd. and Ohio Ave. around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, and found a woman in the car who’d been shot.

The victim, identified Thursday as 36-year-old Christina Fulword, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Fulword died after she was removed from life support, Orlando police said Thursday.
Police said Fulword was approximately six months pregnant when she died. The baby was delivered and is now in critical condition, but stable.
The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide.
No suspect information has been released and police say the motive for the shooting still isn’t clear.
