President Trump to host first rally since his COVID-19 diagnosis in Central Florida on Monday

SANFORD, Fla. — President Donald Trump is set to attend his campaign rally since he was diagnosed with COVID-19 in Sanford next week.

His campaign said the president will attend a Make America Great Again rally Monday at 7 p.m. at Orlando Sanford International Airport. Officials said doors will open at 4 p.m.

Trump was supposed to visit Sanford last week, but that visit was canceled following his diagnosis.

Vice President Mike Pence will hold a pair of campaign rallies in Central Florida on Saturday afternoon.

Pence will speak at a “Latinos for Trump” event at 1 p.m. at Central Christian University in the Pine Hills neighborhood. He will then travel to The Villages for a “Make America Great Again” event at 3:30 p.m.
