ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Police Department is investigating Saturday after a man was shot by someone he met online.
At 11:16 a.m., officers said they responded to the SonoHotel at 6825 International Drive in reference to shots fired.
Police said the man told officers he met the suspect online but could give no further details.
The incident happened in the victim’s hotel room, according to police.
The man was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
No other details were released.
