ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — With the return to face-to-face learning just days away, the Orange County school district has released additional details on their plans to maintain proper social distancing between students as they make their way to school and during lunch time.
Buses will be limited to less than half their max capacity at one student per seat, according to Orange County Public Schools.

Bus drivers will also regularly wipe down the seats, windows and other frequently-touched areas after both the morning and afternoon drop-offs.
Students will be required to wear a mask to board the bus. Disposable masks will be available for those who don’t have one.
The buses are also being outfitted with their own hand sanitizer dispensers.
As for lunch-time, students will sit six feet apart with markings on the tables to help guide them.
Kids will also be given wipes to help them keep clean.

Kids who ride the bus will have to be signed up ahead of time.
OCPS is asking kids who might need to ride the bus to do so on the first day of class so they can get an accurate count for the routes.
