ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orange County deputy has been removed from duty after he was arrested in Volusia County over the weekend.
Deputy Jordan Chrisley was charged with battery and false imprisonment Sunday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Chrisley was removed from all law enforcement duties without pay.
The Sheriff’s Office will conduct an administrative investigation once the criminal proceedings into the allegations against Chrisley are complete.

“These are very serious criminal allegations,” Sheriff John Mina said in a statement Monday. "As law enforcement officers, we are held to the highest standards of conduct, whether on duty or off duty.
According to court records, Chrisley has entered a plea of not guilty. He’s been released on $3,000 bond.
