Joe Overstreet was interviewed a few hours before crews in Putnam County resumed a new search for Haleigh Cummings. The little girl disappeared from her father's Satsuma home over a year ago. Investigators are not saying anything about Wednesday morning's interview with Overlook.

"I don't know. I really can't say anything right now. But we will when we can. Hopefully this weekend," Haleigh's grandmother, Annette Sykes, told WFTV on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, dive teams returned to the Saint Johns River on Wednesday morning after receiving a tip that had them searching the day before. WFTV spoke with the Sheriff Jeff Hardy who looked frustrated going into the second day of searching the area.

For the second day in a row, divers from four different law enforcement agencies searched through the murky Saint John's River in Putnam County. The area is just two miles away from where Haleigh Cummings disappeared.

Investigators questioned Joe Overstreet overnight, but his mother said he has done nothing wrong.

Joe Overstreet 041410 Joe Overstreet "We don't know nothing. Been sitting at home and he hasn't been talked to for months," Overstreet's mother told WFTV.

Overstreet lived in Putnam County, but when Haleigh vanished he moved to Nashville. Authorities interviewed him a few months ago, but nothing came of it.

As for the search in Putnam County, a source told WFTV someone in custody tipped off authorities that physical evidence could be found in the water.

"There are between 50 and 70 cop cars back there. There are police boats going back and forth with divers in it," resident Carl Brown said.

Search teams are also looking in the dense wooded area surrounding the shore line.

Investigators re-interviewed Haleigh's former stepmother, Misty Croslin, and father, Ronald Cummings, Tuesday, but didn't disclose what was said.

According to sources in Nashville, Overstreet was questioned overnight for about 45 minutes at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Overstreet was back at home Wednesday.
