BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A woman was rushed to a hospital Sunday after a shooting in Brevard County, according to deputies.

Brevard County deputies said they were called to a home on Dolores Court for a "domestic incident" but wouldn't elaborate.

Investigators said they don't have any suspects and did not say who might have pulled the trigger. They said Monday that they are not identifying anyone involved in the shooting until more interviews are done.

Neighbors said they did not think a woman lived in the home, only a man and maybe his brother.

“I just know the one gentleman, you know,” said neighbor Jean Sharples. “He's always been sweet. Other than that, I don't know.”

Deputies have not shared the woman's name or age, but said she is expected to survive.

Neighbors described the area as a safe, quiet community and said they don't often see police.
