Woman dies after being struck by car on I-4

ORLANDO, Fla. — A woman died after she was struck by a car on Interstate 4, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said at around 1:45 a.m. a woman was standing by her vehicle that was parked along the shoulder in the westbound lanes.

For an unknown reason, the woman walked into the path of a Toyota Prius.

The woman was struck by the car and died at the scene.

Her identity is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
