Woman accused of stabbing victim over bad tip in Kissimmee, deputies say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home invasion and stabbing on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at the Riviera Motel located at t 2248 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee.

According to a report, when officers arrived on the scene, they located a victim who was stabbed multiple times.

It was discovered that the victim had ordered pizza from a local restaurant earlier in the night, where the suspect, 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, got upset about a tip she received from the victim, according to OCSO.

Alvelo later returned to the victim’s motel room with an unknown male suspect, who was armed with a firearm and forced their way into the room.

Alvelo, who was armed with a knife, began attacking one of the victims, stabbing them multiple times.

The victim was transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the offenses of home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault.

Alvelo was arrested on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, and booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond.
