ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 37-year-old woman who is accused of leaving a 2-year-old girl in an unlocked vehicle in the employee parking lot of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Monday afternoon was freed from the Orange County Jail early Tuesday after posting bail, records said.

Myriam Lubin Cadet, a hotel housekeeper, was arrested on a charge of child neglect after Walt Disney World security guards removed the girl from the vehicle shortly before 1:15 p.m., Orange County Deputy Ingrid Tejada-Monforte said.

An employee was preparing to begin his shift when he heard a crying child, who was seated in a car that wasn't running, Tejada-Monforte said.

Investigators said the vehicle's windows were lowered several inches, but they believe the car's internal temperature was between 113 and 114 degrees.

Deputies said the girl, who was in the vehicle for one hour, was taken to Florida Hospital Celebration Health in stable condition.

Investigators said Lubin Cadet confessed she left the child in the car.

Deputies said Lubin Cadet left work to pick up the girl from a friend, who took the child's mother to the hospital to give birth.

"She didn't tell me she was going to work. She said, well, she's off today," said Gymy Rosier, the little girl's father told Channel 9's Jeff Deal.

Rosier said he knew Lubin Cadet from church.

"Why are you doing this to me?" Lubin Cadet told Channel 9's Ty Russell as she walked out of jail Tuesday. She didn't say much else.

Rosier told Channel 9 that he's just happy his daugher will be OK.

"Everything is going well now," Rosier said. "She's jumping around. She's very happy and healthy."

Disney representatives said Lubin Cadet has been placed on leave.

The incident remains under investigation.
