WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — The City of Winter Springs will begin a State Road 434 construction project on Monday.

Drivers should be aware of the project since it may impact traffic.
Crews will work on the first segment of a new reclaimed water main along the road between Bear Springs Drive and Central Winds Drive.

The work will be during the day, and drivers can expect minor delays Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The first phase is part of the planned expansion of the reclaimed water system to the eastern side of Winter Springs.

City officials said construction on the new system would be finished later this year in six phases.
This project aims to reduce drinking water used for irrigation.
