WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — The City of Winter Springs finished repairing a stormwater pond this week.

According to a news release, crews started improving the pond on Mt. Laurel Drive on April 10.
The last step of the revitalization project included adding new sod.

Last year, hurricane flooding washed out parts of the pond, which led the city to approve emergency repairs.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency helped fund the $132,000 project.
