Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival to draw around 250,000 visitors throughout the weekend

WINTER PARK, Fla. — Winter Park’s Sidewalk Art Festival is back next month.

The festival will take to the sidewalks – and streets – of Winter Park March 17-19.

Organizers said the event usually draws more than 250,000 people for the three-day festival, making it one of Central Florida’s largest outdoor events.

This year 212 fine artists are participating, chosen from over 1,000 national and international applications.

The festival will also feature concerts in Central Park, a wide variety of food and beverages, a large display of outstanding art from local schools and interactive art activities for the kids guided by local museums.

For the second year, a Saturday Night Jazz Concert will be held the weekend before the festival, March 11, starting at 3:30 pm. The Kick-Off Concert will feature The Tal Cohen Trio followed by Spyro Gyra.
