WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — The Winter Garden Farmer’s Market celebrated its 15th birthday with a community party Saturday morning.

The market had many free birthday-related activities.
There was live music, face painting, a kids’ craft session, and games for the family.
The city also gave away Winter Garden’s 120th-anniversary tote bags to the first 120 guests that come to the party.

Attendees enjoyed vendors that make up the market’s culture.
Some vendors featured artwork, pet supplies, locally sourced produce and baked goods.
The market has been a cultural staple in the city, supporting the option to shop locally and sustainably while bringing vendors and the community together every weekend.

Here are some fun facts in honor of the market’s 15th birthday:
- The Winter Garden Farmers Market opened with 20 vendors in 2008. Now, in 2023 they have around 110 total vendors.
- The market was awarded the best farmers market in the state and the U.S. by Voted Best Farmers Market in State and USA by American Farmland Trust.
- It has over 4,000 attendees weekly.
The market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
