ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A Winter Garden man who took a chance on a $30 lottery ticket can now call himself a millionaire.

Joshua Hudgins, 39, recently claimed his $1 million prize in Tallahassee, Florida Lottery officials said.
Hudgins’ riches came after he stopped into a store in Kissimmee and bought a scratch-off ticket.

The game he played -- Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme -- offers four top prizes of $15 million and 24 $1 million prizes.
Hudgins uncovered one of those million-dollar prizes on a ticket that he purchased from Wawa, located at 7940 West Irlo Bronson Highway.

The store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling him the winning ticket, lottery officials said.
Hudgins chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000.
According to Florida Lottery, the overall odds of winning a prize from Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme are one-in-2.59.
