Why these California restaurants are headed here

Throughout 2022, Orlando saw a flurry of California restaurants open, expand or announce their entry into the local market.

They include:

Los Angeles-based The Dolly Llama Waffle Master Dessert Shop opened its first area location in Winter Garden recently and franchisee Amit Maini plans to open three more shops here. This brand started serving its waffle creations in 2017.

Solita Tacos debuted on the East Coast with its downtown Orlando restaurant in December, replacing a Wahlburgers.
