Westbound I-4 reopens in South Orlando after major crash

ORLANDO, Fla. — All lanes of Westbound Interstate 4 were closed Friday evening after a crash near the exit to Conroy Rd.

Traffic was being diverted onto John Young Parkway while the Orlando Police Department investigated what happened.

Police have not said how many cars were involved or how many people were hurt, but described their injuries as “serious.”

The highway has since been cleared.
