Thanks to unfavorable weather, Central Florida’s theme park giants announced the closures of their water resorts.

Universal Orlando said Volcano Bay will be closed Friday.

Volcano Bay will be closed on Friday, November 5, due to inclement weather. For park updates, please call 407-817-8317 or stay tuned to Universal Orlando’s social channels.
The resort directed guests wanting to splash around in something other than rain to stay tuned to its social media channels and provided a phone number for updates.

Online calendars for Disney’s Blizzard Beach and SeaWorld’s Aquatic also confirmed Friday closures.
Additionally, no operating hours were available for Blizzard Beach on Saturday.

Channel 9 meteorologist Brian Shields said the weather on Saturday and Sunday could best be compared to a tropical storm.
