ORLANDO, Fla. — Another day of active severe storms is in the forecast for Wednesday afternoon over the central half of our area, Channel 9 Certified Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry said.

The storms will happen away from the East Coast as the sea breeze moves inland, Terry said.

Large and damaging hail and gusty winds are the main threats.
Colder air in the mid or upper atmosphere is causing the extreme versions of Central Florida storms, Terry said.
