WATCH: Gatorland’s history a recent clue on ‘Jeopardy!’

ORLANDO, Fla. — The history of Gatorland in Orlando and its connection with crocodiles took a bite out of one contestant’s chance for money but proved lucrative for another last week.

The popular Orlando attraction was one of the clues Friday night in the Americana category.

The $200 prompt: “A bit confusingly, the first big attraction in the history of Florida’s Gatorland was Bone Crusher [sic], a 1/2-ton one of these.”

The first contestant who rang in incorrectly guessed “alligator,” but the second contestant won the money when he said “crocodile.”

Gatorland President and CEO Mark McHugh was watching the show and recorded his reaction and posted it on the theme park’s Facebook page. Watch it below:

Bonecrusher “ruled Gatorland in the 1950s and 1960s” after he was brought to the park, according to its website. His son, also named Bonecrusher, now calls Gatorland home.
