HIALEAH, Fla. — Navarro Discount Pharmacy, CVS y más and some CVS stores will begin to offer the COVID-19 vaccine as early as Thursday, according to Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The governor made the announcement Tuesday during a news conference at the Navarro Discount Pharmacy in Hialeah.
Both Navarro Discount Pharmacy and CVS y más cater to Hispanic communities.
A majority of the vaccine sites will be in Miami-Dade County, however the governor said some stores in Volusia and Flagler counties will be included.
DeSantis said each store will administer 100 shots per day.
CVS has not updated its website to include the Florida COVID-19 vaccine locations.
Last week, shipments of COVID-19 vaccine doses were delayed due to winter weather around the country.
