Deputy Robert Santiago and wildlife trapper Scott Swartley responded to the home, helping to remove the gator from the pool.
Sheriff Wayne Ivey posted a photo of the effort on Facebook, captioning it in part: “I would love to know exactly what Deputy Santiago was thinking but I’m pretty sure it was…'oh hell no I didn’t sign up for this!!’”
