ORLANDO, Fla. — A chilly start to the morning will give way to afternoon warmth Sunday in Central Florida.

We will again see plenty of sunshine, with winds out of the east bringing warmer air into the region.
Highs today will climb into the low 70s.
Expect a much milder overnight, with partly cloudy skies. Morning lows will be in the mid-50s.
Meteorologist David Heckard said our next storm system will arrive Monday, producing showers and a few storms.

An isolated strong storm will also be possible. An even warmer Monday will bring highs in the upper 70s.
But Heckard said a strong cold front will move through the area Monday night, bringing by far the coldest air of the season into the Channel 9 viewing area.

Highs midweek will only be in the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine.
Morning lows will tumble into the upper 30s, with widespread frost likely in areas north and northwest of Orlando.
Heckard said slightly warmer weather is expected to close out the coming week.
