LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Halloween festivities have ended at Walt Disney World Resort, making room for the holiday season to begin.

Workers transformed the Magic Kingdom park into a winter wonderland Wednesday with holiday magic.

It was the first day of a multiday transformation across the four theme parks and over 30 hotels.

There will also be a few holiday-themed night projections since this is the last holiday season during the 50th-anniversary celebration, which will end next year.

The Magic Kingdom holiday decorations will include the following:

- Snow each night on Main Street, U.S.A.

- Decorated shop windows.

- Seasonal entertainment.

- Holiday overlays for specific attractions.

- A 65-foot-tall Christmas tree.
