Walt Disney World bus driver awarded nearly $1M after legs crushed

ORLANDO, Fla. — A jury has awarded nearly $1 million to a former Walt Disney bus driver whose legs were crushed in a bus crash.

Troopers investigated the crash in March 2010.

A Mears bus was stopped on Epcot Center Drive when Jean Valentin's bus rear-ended it.

He was ticketed for careless driving for the crash.

His attorney's argued the Mears bus driver shouldn't have stopped on the road.

A jury agreed and awarded Valentin $970,000.
