Walgreens, CVS to offer booster shots for immunocompromised people

ORLANDO, Fla. — Walgreens and CVS both announced that they will offer additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for moderate to severely immunocompromised people.

The move coincides with the CDC recommendation that people that previously completed the series of vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna get an additional dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Johnson & Johnson patients are not eligible for an additional dose at this time.
