Volusia deputies search for person who spray-painted ‘get out’, apparent swastika on garage

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County deputies are looking for someone who spray-painted the words “get out” and an apparent swastika on someone’s garage.

Deputies said the Ormond Beach resident woke up to find the graffiti scrawled on his garage door.

The man lives on John Anderson Drive. Deputies said the damage to the garage is estimated to be more than $200 but less than $1,000.

Deputies said the incident is believed to be prompted by the man’s ethnic origin.
