PORT ORANGE, Fla. — A woman in Port Orange was found dead inside a smoke-filled home Tuesday morning, according to police.
Police said they were called around 8:48 a.m. to reports of smoke inside a structure on New Bolton Drive.
First responders searched the home and found the body of Elizabeth Adams, 67, inside, police said.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Port Orange Detective Carl Lamirande at 386-506-5886.
