Police said the unpermitted event could bring some rowdy crowds and noisy trucks.
Officials said a “special event zone” will take effect Friday through the weekend, raising fines for traffic violations, and giving deputies more leeway to tow away vehicles.
Last year, Volusia County deputies said they made 124 traffic stops, issued 25 warnings, made seven misdemeanor arrests and one felony arrest.
