VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County closed its registration for the COVID-19 vaccine after 500 seniors booked an appointment.
The county gave seniors the chance to sign up to get the Moderna vaccine.
The appointments will be Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., at the Volusia County Fairgrounds in DeLand.

Health officials said they will reopen the site in 28 days to offer people their second dose of the vaccine.
