The Daytona Beach Police Department will implement special traffic patterns when needed in order to make sure traffic flows in and out of the Speedway during races or events.

No checkpoints are planned for any events during Speedweeks, police said.

If you’re going to the races, police recommend anyone coming from beachside to use the Seabreeze Bridge and then Mason Avenue/S.R. 430 for quickest access to the Speedway.

The Main Street and Orange/Silver Beach Avenues bridges are also an option, as is U.S. 92/International Speedway Boulevard, but expect more traffic if you use ISB.

If you’re not going to the races, police recommend avoiding the roads around Daytona International Speedway when possible, especially ISB/U.S. 92.
