NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — The search for a missing woman in Orange County expanded on Thursday amid a new tip of her possible location to law enforcement.
Family and friends of Miya Marcano are continuing to hold on to hope as the search for her continues into its sixth day.

Orange County deputies expanded their search to an area of New Smyrna Beach, near A-1-A.
Activity in the search area grew rapidly Thursday afternoon as Orange County deputies swarmed the scene.

Earlier on Thursday afternoon, Orange County Sheriff John Mina didn’t specifically confirm whether the cellphone of suspect Armando Caballero pinged in the area of New Smyrna Beach.
Mina said that as new information comes in, he is sending teams out immediately to follow up.
