Roof collapses in massive DeBary house fire

DEBARY, Fla. — A massive house fire caused a portion of a DeBary home’s roof to collapse early Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to the home on Lake Drive around 2 a.m.

A neighbor said she saw crews pull a man out on a stretcher, but firefighters have not confirmed whether anyone was injured.

Neighbor Lynn Greaney said she could hear the crackling from the fire from inside her home around the block.

"I was in my house getting ready to go to bed and I heard all these popping sounds,” Greaney said.

Channel 9 is reaching out to investigators for updates on the cause of the blaze and whether anyone was injured.
