PORT ORANGE, Fla. — Port Orange police said they are investigating a “suspicious death” after a man was found dead and a woman critically injured at a home Friday morning.
Officers said they responded to a home on Palm Castle Drive around 2:30 a.m. where they found the mother, 69, and son, 35.

Police said this was an isolated incident and that there is no outstanding threat to the community.
