VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office investigated an incident where a man was killed by a train.
The call came into 911 just before 7 a.m. on Sunday.

According to deputies, the victim was seen lying on the railroad tracks before impact.
Deputies said the 48-year-old man was struck and killed by a Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) train at 102 N. Brooks Circle in Oak Hill.

The victim, Christopher Trull, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The FEC train was traveling north and applied the train’s emergency brakes as soon as Trull was seen on the tracks.
Sheriff’s deputies said no signs of foul play were discovered in the investigation.
