DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A homicide investigation is underway in Daytona Beach after a man was found dead in an apartment complex hallway early Friday, police said.
Officers said the homicide happened just after midnight at an apartment complex at 1290 9th Street.

First responders said they found Adolphus Butler, 18, dead in the hallway from an apparent gunshot wound.

Investigators are working to identify a suspect, Chief Jakari Young said.
Police told Channel 9′s Q McCray that they believe the suspect took off on a bicycle.
