Deltona woman charged with aiding, abetting after high-speed chase, deputies say

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County deputies are sharing more details about a high-speed chase this week.

A woman, who investigators first thought was a victim in the crime, has been arrested.

Deputies said Delfy Gonzalez told them someone showed up at her Deltona house on Tuesday morning and forced her to let him hide a stolen car involved in a police case inside her garage.

The chase was caught on camera from the sheriff’s office helicopter.

Now, investigators believe Gonzalez and Raffy Rodriguez were working together to hide the car.

She’s now charged with aiding and abetting. Rodriguez is charged with auto grand theft, burglary and fleeing law enforcement.
