VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A man is in the Volusia County Jail after deputies said he stabbed two of his coworkers in a van, killing one of them.
Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Racetrac gas station on Howland Boulevard in Deltona around 9:30 p.m. Friday. When they arrived they discovered two victims, both of whom had been stabbed.

According to deputies, four co-workers, were driving back to Deltona from the Tampa area when the altercation occurred.
Deputies said the group stopped and bought beer for the ride home.

According to the deputies, somewhere around mile marker 114 near Deltona, one of the passengers, 33-year-old Christopher Sanchez-Roman, became angry and stabbed two of the other passengers in the van.
The driver pulled into the Racetrac gas station for help, deputies said.
When deputies arrived, 30-year-old front-seat passenger Yoni Cipriano-Cruz was found unresponsive. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The second victim was taken to the hospital with multiple non life-threatening stab wounds.
Sanchez-Roman was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail, where he is being held without bond.
