This initiative is in partnership with the National Research Center.

The survey will help the City Commission make policy decisions based on the community’s feedback.

“This is a great opportunity for our residents to indicate how they feel about the overall direction of the city, what DeLand’s city government is doing well and what areas they feel should be improved,” said Mayor Robert F. Apgar.

Residents who receive the survey are asked to fill it out as soon as they can and send it back with the post-marked envelope provided.

If you are not comfortable with a paper survey, there is an online survey option.

The online survey will also be available in a few weeks for those who do not receive one in the mail.

Results from the survey will be provided to the city in the fall.
