DeLand 7-Eleven windows shot after shootout between two drivers, police say

DELAND, Fla. — Police in DeLand are looking for the drivers of two cars that engaged in a shootout early Thursday.

Officers said the shooting started at around 3 a.m. at the 7-Eleven gas station on West New York Avenue.

Investigators said the shootout continued between the drivers going north on State Road 15A, east on U.S. 92 and then the vehicles proceeded to drive south on North Woodland Boulevard.

Officers said the 7-Eleven sustained gunfire with damage to the front windows.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the shooting.
