DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A limited number of racing fans will be welcomed into Daytona International Speedway for the 2021 Daytona 500, officials announced Wednesday.
Race officials said the limited capacity at the race, which is scheduled for Feb. 14, is due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

As a result of the seating capacity limitations, race officials said they will work to accommodate guests who have already purchased tickets to next year’s race. They said to ensure social distancing between groups, fans will be reseated in new locations.
They said the reseating process is expected to be complete by early January.
