Body found off I-4 near Daytona Beach

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a body was found off Interstate 4 on Monday morning.

According to deputies, the remains were found near mile marker 127, in the Daytona Beach area.

Deputies said they are currently working to identify the body.

This is the second time in three days that a body was found off I-4.

On Saturday night, Orange County sheriff deputies responded to a call I-4 West and the SR-528 overpass after a caller, who pulled off the road for a pit stop, discovered a body in some overgrown brush.
